Warranty Policy



All Deepower bikes are covered under our 2-year, all-inclusive manufacturer's warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects.

WARRANTY PERIOD AND TARGET AUDIENCE TERMS


After the original purchaser orders and receives the product from our online store, please activate the warranty by submitting your order information via our official website or by scanning the QR code on the frame. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.

Please note we do not accept warranty transfers. Warranty service is provided exclusively to original customers.

Purchases from Non-Deepower Channels


Bikes purchased through non-Deepower official channels are not covered under our warranty. To qualify for warranty coverage, please ensure your purchase is made through Deepower-approved channels.

Second-Hand Purchases


If you have purchased a second-hand Deepower bike, you must provide the original order information for verification. Please note: if the bike is recorded as stolen in our system, it will not be eligible for warranty coverage.

COVERED PRODUCTS


Deepower Ebike will replace any component deemed defective or damaged (including damage incurred during shipment), except in cases of user error. The warranty covers the products listed below, subject to the following terms:

Frame


Deepower Ebike frames are covered under a 2-year replacement warranty.

This warranty covers frame replacement only. Labor charges associated with transferring parts to the replacement frame are not included. An authorized Deepower Ebike service representative will determine whether the frame qualifies for replacement.

Frame issues not covered under this warranty include, but are not limited to:

  • Corrosion
  • Paint fade, scratches, and impact marks
  • Impact damage
  • Non-reversible modifications (such as drilling or welding)
  • Chain guard mounted to the frame (if applicable)

Batteries


Deepower Ebike batteries are covered under a 2-year prorated warranty.

During the 2-year service period — a defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged from the original purchase date.

Battery defect assessments can only be performed directly by Deepower Ebike.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other activities inconsistent with intended use), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical, or electromechanical stress;
  • Defects or damage caused by unauthorized modifications;
  • Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by Deepower Ebike;
  • Products with removed, defaced, altered, damaged, or illegible serial numbers or barcodes;
  • Ordinary wear and tear;
  • Defects or damage caused by the use of non-Deepower-approved accessories or peripheral equipment;
  • Defects or damage caused by assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment that deviates from the Assembly Instructions or Owner’s Manual;
  • Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of electrical sources.

Additionally, for batteries, this Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage from:

  • Charging with an incompatible or improper charger;
  • Improper charger use;
  • Broken or tampered battery seals;
  • Use in equipment other than the Deepower bike for which the battery is specified.

Parts & Components


Original Deepower Ebike parts and components are covered under a 2-year limited warranty.

(If more than 15 days have passed since delivery, replacement parts shipped within the warranty period will require shipping costs.)

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Parts compromised by corrosion due to exposure to moisture, heat, or other elements;
  • Surface finish, appearance, or aesthetic damage or deterioration;
  • Labor charges for part replacement or installation;
  • Defects or damage from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use, improper storage, exposure to liquids/chemicals/moisture/abrasives/sand/dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical/electrical/electromechanical stress;
  • Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Deepower Ebike;
  • Products with removed, defaced, altered, damaged, or illegible serial numbers or barcodes;
  • Defects or damage caused by non-Deepower-approved accessories;
  • Defects or damage from improper assembly, operation, maintenance, or service that deviates from official instructions;
  • Defects or damage from external causes including collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, weather exposure, theft, blown fuses, or improper electrical use;
  • Ordinary wear and tear not caused by material or workmanship defects. Wear and tear will be assessed by Deepower Ebike.

SERVICES


If you experience any warrantable issues with your bike, please contact us at support@deepowerbike.com with the following information:

  • Order number/ID
  • The email and shipping address used at checkout
  • Photos or short videos of the issue
  • A brief description of the problem

Parts and Labor


Deepower may provide both parts and labor, but may instruct you to replace certain parts yourself, as described below. In most cases, you will not be required to return defective parts to us.

Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Parts Service


DIY Parts Service allows you to service your own product. If Deepower determines DIY service is available, we will ship a replacement part to you, accompanied by installation instructions and any requirements for returning the replaced part. Deepower reserves the right to determine whether labor costs related to DIY service are covered.

Repairs Outside the Warranty


Even if your issue is not covered under warranty, you may purchase replacement parts directly from us. As the manufacturer, we offer competitive pricing on genuine Deepower Ebike parts.

NOTE


We DO NOT accept bike returns without prior email approval. If you have any product issues, contact us first at support@deepowerbike.com. Our customer support team will assist you promptly.

Shipping Damage


Damage to covered components during shipping is not covered under this Limited Warranty. However, Deepower will replace shipping-damaged covered components if you:

  1. Notify Deepower of shipping damage within 15 days of receiving the ebike;
  2. Provide dated photos of the damaged components;
  3. Note any immediately visible damage on the shipper’s Bill of Lading before signing for delivery.

Shipping damage claims are time-sensitive. Inspect your ebike immediately upon delivery.

If you use an independent shipping method (e.g., freight forwarder), Deepower will not replace components damaged during such shipping.

Credit Card Chargebacks


If any purchase is subject to a credit card chargeback (in any amount) and you still possess the ebike, this Limited Warranty will be invalidated until the chargeback is fully resolved.

Claims Process


Deepower will not replace covered components under warranty without first reviewing photos or videos of the damaged parts.

To claim a replacement for a covered component:

  1. Contact Deepower Product Support at:

  3. If a component replacement is approved, support will provide return and replacement instructions.
  4. After you receive the replacement component, support will assist with installation.
  5. Return shipping costs for defective components are your responsibility unless Deepower agrees to cover them in writing.
  6. Warranty replacements will only be shipped to the original purchaser’s address.



LEGAL DISCLAIMER


THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND DEEPOWER’S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. DEEPOWER’S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE EBIKE, NOR SHALL DEEPOWER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty grants you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

To the extent permitted under applicable law, Deepower disclaims all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, for the duration of this express limited warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
